Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time patrol/threat detection role in Nashville, TN. You’ll provide unarmed security at a manufacturing and industrial location, patrol regularly, monitor access, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation as required by law.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain entry and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site-specific procedures and notify appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report security-related conditions, equipment issues, and policy violations to leadership and site contacts.
