Job summary

Masonicare Corp in Wallingford, CT is seeking a part-time Nursing Supervisor for the night shift (16 hours per week) at the Masonicare Health Center, a 260-bed facility. Under the direction of nursing leadership, you will supervise staff, ensure standards of care, and coordinate nursing activities to maintain quality and safety.

Qualified candidates will have CT RN license, CPR certification, and 1–2 years of supervisory experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in Connecticut; CPR certification required.
• BS in nursing or healthcare field preferred.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage staff and patient needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain departmental policies and nursing practice standards.
• Oversee off-shift nursing, allocate personnel, supervise staff.
• Ensure care meets age-appropriate safety and quality criteria.
• Communicate effectively with staff and attend admin meetings.
• Encourage staff development and mandatory training.
