Job summary

Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time night shift. You will perform patient assessments, initiate nursing interventions, and document care with precision in the medical record.

You’ll contribute to interdisciplinary care planning and participate in quality improvement activities. Ideal candidates hold an active RN license (VA or compact where applicable) or be willing to update licensure; an Associate's degree is required and a Bachelor's

Qualifications

• Active RN license (VA single-state or compact)
• Relocation may require updating to new PSOR before employment begins
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• BLS certification required
• One year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
