Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute, a Lifepoint Health facility, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 40-bed inpatient rehab team in Gainesville, GA. This part-time day position emphasizes accurate patient assessments, care planning, and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team.

You will provide compassionate nursing care for patients recovering from stroke, neurological conditions, brain or spinal cord injuries, and other complex conditions, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license.
• Relocation: license must be updated to the new PSOR before employment begins.
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
