Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team in Georgia. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice and adherence to professional standards, with leadership and governance support from Wellstar's model.

The RN will participate in nursing processes, collaborate with care teams, and uphold the voice of the patient while delivering compassionate, safe care during night shifts.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• RN licensure required upon hire (GA or multi-state).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience in direct patient care.
• Clinical nursing competencies per Georgia practice act.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; identification of outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care using evidence based practice and ensuring care is individualized.
• Provides relationship-based patient-centered care that respects diversity and cultural differences.
• Partners with patients and families using bedside shift reports, rounds and patient teaching to align goals.
• Practices using current clinical standards and evidence-based practice.
• Coordinates safe quality patient care and documents thoroughly within interdisciplinary teams.
• Supports performance improvement and evidence-based practice through data and collaboration.
• Participates in development of care protocols and ensures efficient use of resources.
