Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Night shift RN to join an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work under Nurse Managers within a governance model to uphold safety, ethics and evidence-based nursing practices.

Qualified candidates hold nursing licensure, 5 years of RN experience preferred, and be proficient in English with strong teamwork and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
• RN licensure: Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact.
• BLS certification required (or BLS Instructor).
• Minimum 5 years RN experience; direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Delivers relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity.
• Partners with patients and families using bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Complies with current clinical practice standards and ethics.
• Coordinates safe, high-quality patient care and timely documentation.
• Supports performance improvement and shared governance and engages in continuous professional development.
