Job summary

Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center in Southern California seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team. The role performs Diagnostic Radiography, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and related procedures per department protocols.

You will be the first point of contact for patients, participate in QC and PI activities, and assist in Performance Improvement. The role may involve supervising in the Manager's/Director's absence and requires maintaining supplies and

Qualifications

Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
Appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
Current BCLS (AHA)
Familiar with State and Federal regulations.
One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures according to department protocols.
Acts as the first line interface with customers and addresses imaging needs.
Participates in PI/ QC activities and assists in the Performance Improvement Program.
Oversees radiology area and/or staff in Manager's/Director's absence.
Maintains department supplies and equipment for assigned sub-department.
Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
