Touchette-Regional-Hospital is seeking a part-time Environmental Technician to support nightly cleaning operations in a hospital setting. You will clean patient rooms, offices, restrooms, clinics, and operating areas using approved methods to uphold hygienic standards and a safe environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and 1–6 months healthcare cleaning experience (preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–6 months experience in healthcare cleaning preferred.
• Training in various housekeeping areas (patient rooms, offices, restrooms, clinics).
• Knowledge of hospital cleaning methods and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsabilités

• Perform housekeeping in patient rooms, offices, rest rooms, clinics, and operating areas using approved cleaning methods.
• Clean multiple areas including patient rooms, exam rooms, and delivery rooms.
• Sanitize and spot-clean surfaces; damp wipe furniture; vacuum or mop floors.
• Input bed tracking and required information into the computer daily.
• Learn discharge and terminal cleaning turnaround procedures as prescribed.
