Texas Health Mansfield is seeking a Part-Time Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality CT and radiographic exams, document results in EMR/PACS, and educate patients. You will ensure room readiness, monitor safety, and collaborate with radiologists to support timely, accurate diagnoses. Requires ARRT registrations and CT experience.

The role emphasizes safety, patient-centric care, and adherence to departmental protocols in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and patient-centric approach.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with Epic is a plus.
• Ability to learn radiology software and EMR systems.
• Must maintain required registrations and licenses.
• Knowledge of ALARA radiation safety principles.
• Experience with CT imaging preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
• Perform high-quality CT and radiographic examinations per orders.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Educate patients about exams and manage workflow.
• Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams.
• Handle IV contrast administration and monitoring.
