Job summary

Texas Health Mansfield is seeking a Part-Time Night Radiologic Technologist to join our new Texas Health Neighborhood Care & Wellness Midlothian Center opening February 2027. You will perform high-quality CT and radiographic examinations, prepare patients, maintain EMR/PACS documentation, and ensure safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year of radiologic experience.
• Registered Technologist - Radiography RT(R) (ARRT) required.
• Read, write, and speak English well.
• Ability to learn Radiology software packages, scanners and workstations, and EMR.
• Maintain registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures.
• Follow radiation safety concepts to keep exposure low.
• Able to complete exams in acceptable ED/Observation turnaround time.
• Cardiac CTA reconstructions learning aPlus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Performs and documents daily QC checks.
• Reviews patient history to confirm exam appropriateness.
• Performs CT and radiographic exams with high image quality.
• Maintains EMR/PACS documentation.
• Educates patients about exams and complete exams timely.
• Operates imaging equipment safely and properly.
• Adheres to PPE and infection control standards.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare providers.
