Job summary

Canopy Midtown Atlanta is seeking a Night Auditor (Part-Time) to manage nightly audit functions and deliver exceptional guest service at the front desk. You will assist guests with check-ins/check-outs, process reservations, and respond to inquiries, ensuring a high level of service during the overnight shift.

Responsibilities include cash handling, express checkouts, room status updates, shift communication, and collaboration with Front Office and other departments to maintain service quality.

• Proactive thinking to keep guest security in mind and maintain a safe, clean, friendly overnight environment.
• Count cash and maintain accuracy of the cash drawer at the start and end of each night shift.
• Check the front desk log for issues and communicate shift information to the team.
• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests; process registrations and payments.
• Prepare express checkouts and maintain room status inventory.
• Communicate shift details to Front Office Manager and other desk staff; ensure smooth handoffs.
• Keep lobby and bathroom areas clean; assist other hotel departments to deliver high-quality service.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, directions, and local amenities; explain in-room features.
• Complete all required shift paperwork and night audit reports; perform other duties as assigned.
