Job summary

Michigan Neurology Associates, P.C. is seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team in a part-time role. The position offers $32–$36 per hour and may include some nights and weekends.

Under supervision, you will perform neurodiagnostic procedures to aid physicians in diagnosing neurological disorders, including EEGs, EMGs, evoked potentials, nerve conduction studies, and polysomnograms, while ensuring accurate monitoring and reporting of activity.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent experience preferred.
• BCLS/CPR certification required.
• At least 2 years of experience preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond quickly and appropriately to patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Performing and assisting with EEGs, EMGs, evoked potentials, nerve conduction studies, and polysomnograms.
• Preparing patients and equipment for neurodiagnostic procedures.
• Monitoring and recording neurological activity accurately.
• Preparing descriptive reports of recorded activity for physician interpretation.
• Responding appropriately to patient needs and critical situations.
• Maintaining a professional and compassionate patient experience.
