Job summary

Pima Community College invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in Non-Destructive Testing to teach and mentor students across online, hybrid, and face-to-face formats. Applicants with a strong NDT background and experience in flexible instructional delivery are encouraged to apply.

Positions are part-time with a pool for potential future assignments for the 2025-26 year and beyond. Close date: 2026-11-20, 5:00 pm Arizona time.

Qualifications

Experience teaching Non-Destructive Testing courses.
Experience teaching online courses and/or alternative instructional formats.
Experience using a Learning Management System, preferably D2L Brightspace.
Ability to adapt instruction for diverse student needs including accommodations.
Ability to evaluate students' educational progress and meet course objectives.
Commitment to diversity and inclusion in instructional practice.

Responsibilities

Instruct students in Non-Destructive Testing content and strategies for success.
Follow protocols for presence, responsiveness, grading, attendance, and assessment.
Use current classroom management techniques to maintain engagement.
Monitor and improve instruction to meet Student Learning Outcomes.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student learning.
