Job summary

Northcentral Technical College (NTC) invites applications for part-time adjunct instructors to support a range of programs. Adjuncts are hired per course each semester, and teaching one semester does not guarantee subsequent assignments. Teaching hours may include day, evening, and weekend classes.

Adjunct faculty can teach up to 12 student contact hours per week on average. The posting closes December 31, 2025.

Qualifications

Meet WTCS, HLC, and accreditation standards as applicable.
Human Resources will determine qualification per instructional area.

Responsibilities

Plan learning-centered instruction based on course competencies and outcomes.
Maintain attendance, student success, and scholastic records; submit required reports.
Meet with classes and maintain a safe classroom/laboratory environment.
Use course text, outlines, syllabi, and other curriculum materials per guidelines.
Utilize learning technology (Canvas, Starfish, Cengage, Teams) for teaching and record keeping.
Communicate and provide timely feedback to students and coordinate with college/department.
Participate in assessment, professional development, and Faculty Quality Assurance Standards.
Maintain qualifications per WTCS, HLC, FQAS, accreditation standards and licensing where applicable.
