Job summary

Northcentral Technical College (NTC) seeks part-time adjunct instructors to join a pool for future opportunities. Teaching areas include a variety of subjects; positions are on-campus and not remote, with courses offered day, evening, and weekend hours.

Instructors plan learning-centered instruction, maintain attendance and records, and use technology-enabled delivery (Canvas, Teams, etc.). Strong communication and collaboration within the college community are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the content area; 18 credits in the content area required (English, Math, Biology, Science, Economics, etc.).
• DPI certification or equivalent (or 20 credits) in relevant Elementary/Secondary Education area; and reading/teaching methods credits.

Responsibilities

• Plan learning-centered instruction aligned to competencies and course outcomes.
• Maintain attendance and student records; submit required reports.
• Lead classes on campus; ensure safety and equipment security.
• Use course texts, syllabi, and curriculum materials per guidelines.
• Utilize technology for delivery and assessment (Canvas, Teams, etc.).
• Provide timely feedback to students and communicate with college and team.
• Participate in assessment processes and professional development.
• Maintain qualifications per WTCS, HLC, FQAS, and licensing standards.
