Job summary

Smart Start of Forsyth County, Inc. seeks a Program Assistant to support NC Pre-K operations under the Director of Children & Family Services.

You will assist with data processing, data entry, and report generation, and handle Pre-K application intake with families at the front office. You will process applications submitted in person and online, return calls to parents, and support enrollment, eligibility verification, placement procedures, and vacancy responses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
• Two years office/administrative experience preferred.
• Spanish language fluency (speaking, reading, writing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data processing, data entry and report generation.
• Handle Pre-K application intake and family/customer support at front office.
• Process/enter applications (in-person and online) and respond to parent inquiries.
• Support enrollment, eligibility verification and placement procedures for NC Pre-K.
• Assist with diaper bank operations, inventory and record-keeping.
