Mondelēz International in Connecticut seeks a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to stock shelves, build displays, and support seasonal launches for iconic brands like Oreo and ChipsAhoy!. You will rotate products, execute promotional displays, capture photos, and report store-level insights via Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with valid driver’s license in residing state.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or obtain GED while gaining skills.
• 1–3 years of retail or consumer goods experience preferred.
• Ability to drive personal vehicle with valid insurance to multiple stores.
• Physical activity including lifting, bending, and moving up to 25 lbs (50 lbs occasionally).
• Live within 25–35 miles of Southington, CT; Hartford, CT as secondary location.
• Schedule availability varies weekly.

• Execute store visits following DSD Merchandising Principles and capture photos via DMI.
• Build and maintain relationships with store personnel to support brand visibility.

• Follow daily schedules and priorities set by RTM for efficient coverage.
• Support seasonal launches and high-visibility merchandising events.

Part-Time Merchandisers play a key role in bringing world-famous snacks to life in-store. As a Retail Merchandiser, you’ll stock shelves, build displays, and support seasonal launches for beloved brands like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, ChipsAhoy!, and Triscuit. With a flexible schedule and hands-on impact, you’ll help create a snack aisle experience that’s organized, inviting, and ready to delight shoppers—every time they visit.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Represent Mondelēz: in-store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence
• Serve as the face of the company: delivering outstanding customer service to both store teams and shoppers
• Execute: store visits following Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Principles, including capturing display photos, via digital merchandising initiative DMI
• Build and maintain: relationships with store personnel, such as backroom receivers, to support execution and visibility of our brands
• Stock shelves: rotate product, and maintain brand standards across your stores
• Implement promotional displays: and ensure compliance with your Retail Territory Manager’s (RTM’s) negotiated plans
• Follow daily schedules: and priorities set by your RTM for efficient coverage among your retail team and colleagues
• Support seasonal sales: new product launches, and high visibility merchandising events
• Communicate store-level insights, issues, or opportunities to your RTM and retail team via Salesforce
• Stay Safe & Compliant: embracing the physical nature of the role – including lifting, bending, and moving product through a snack-powered hustle

Requirements Include:

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license issued by the state in which the person resides.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or can earn your GED while gaining the skills!
• 1-3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods preferred
• Someone with a positive and professional attitude who is self‑motivated and can work independently.
• Ability to drive your personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).
• Ability to perform hard work in a fast‑paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs. Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stockroom to store floor and stocking the store’s shelves.
• Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location: Southington, CT

Hourly compensation rate ranges from $16.35-$17.00 based on relevant experience
