Job summary

Hope Elementary School is seeking a part-time Music Teacher to join our K-8 team. The position covers general music for K-5, directing the Grade 5-8 choir, and instrumental lessons for the band program.

State of Maine teaching certification is required. This is a .6 FTE role (3 days per week) with salary ranging from $29,848.80 to $53,322.60 depending on education and experience.

Part-time Position – Immediate Opening.

The ideal candidate will be experienced, collaborative, energetic, and engaging. They should be qualified to teach general music classes to our K-5 students and direct our Grade 5-8 Middle School Choir. Additionally, they must be proficient in teaching instrumental lessons for Grade 5-8 students in our band program.

Appropriate current State of Maine teaching certification required.

This is a part-time position – 3 days per week (.6 FTE). The salary ranges from $29,848.80 to $53,322.60 dependent on education and experience.
