The Department of Music at Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts, invites applications for part-time instructional and academic support for undergraduate and graduate courses across diverse disciplines including aural skills, composition, music theory, and musicology. Private lessons and studio teaching opportunities are also available.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and relevant one year of teaching and/or technical experience.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Strong pedagogical, organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Support undergraduate and graduate courses in a variety of areas including aural skills, composition, general music, jazz studies, music technology, music theory, and musicology.
• Provide piano accompaniment, chamber music coaching, student teaching supervision, and other departmental academic support tasks.
• Include private lesson studio teachers and other instructional/academic support duties.
