Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, invites applications for part-time academic and instructional support positions in the Music Department for Fall 2026. Roles include substitute musicians, production staff for Fall Opera, accompanists for applied lessons, and ensemble coaching.

Additional duties cover pedagogy instruction and music education supervision. Positions are part-time with flexible terms, contingent on funding and departmental needs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in fine arts required.
• One year teaching and/or technical experience preferred.
• Graduate degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as substitute musicians for performances.
• Provide production staff support for Fall Opera productions.
• Accompanists for applied lessons and coaching for classical and jazz ensembles.
• Assist with pedagogy instruction and music education supervision.
• Support departmental academic tasks including area coordinators and graduate student assistants.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in fine arts
