Job summary

Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach music courses on campus. You will teach curriculum developed by the department, plan and organize instruction, and prepare syllabi in line with policies.

You will evaluate student work, maintain records, and support student success in class and online. Eligible candidates hold at least a bachelor’s degree with tested music experience; a master’s degree or substantial graduate coursework is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with tested experience in music.
• Master's degree or significant graduate coursework in music preferred.
• Proven experience in vocal studio teaching across various student levels.

Responsibilities

• Teach curriculum developed by the department.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
