• Performs total body Medical Imaging exams and consults with Radiologists as needed.
• Ensures patient understanding by explaining procedures and addressing questions.
• Obtains new orders from the ordering provider when needed to avoid delays.
• Ensures safe operation of imaging equipment and related supplies for billing accuracy.
• Obtains medical histories and ensures radiologic orders match clinical indications.
• Adheres to radiation safety, HIPAA, and annual education requirements.
• Maintains imaging quality and coordinates patient transport to the department as needed.
• Reports equipment issues to leadership to minimize downtime.
