Job summary

Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, GA is seeking a Radiology Technologist for PRN coverage. You will perform radiologic diagnostic procedures, position patients, and operate imaging equipment under Radiologist supervision, with emphasis on patient comfort and safety. We require ARRT certification, AMA-approved education, and GA state licensure.

A minimum 1 year of radiology tech experience is preferred. This role supports the Medical Imaging team in delivering timely, accurate studies for

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
RT Certification from ARRT is required.
State License required.
Minimum of 1 year experience as Radiology Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare patient for radiological procedures by positioning, immobilization, and equipment setup.
Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff through proper safety practices.
Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, process images, and ensure room is ready with necessary supplies.
Maintain accurate patient records, schedule patients, coordinate transportation, and support a positive patient encounter.
