Job summary
Connoisseur Media is seeking a part-time, talented broadcast news reporter for the news team of 790 AM and 100.5-FM (WSGW) News Radio in Saginaw, Michigan. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned reporter with at least three years in a mid-to-major market newsroom and the ability to wear many hats, from reporter to traffic anchor and digital content creator.

Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a medium-to-major market newsroom.
- At least two years’ experience in news gathering, writing, and on-air duties.
- Available for on-call, including after midnight for breaking news.
- Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with audio editing.
Responsibilities
- Write and report news.
- Operate on-air console and audio controls.
- Collaborate with show producers and News Director on daily news.
- Monitor local news coverage from TV, print, and radio.
- Be on-call after midnight for breaking news.
- Provide photos and video when covering stories.
- Post stories to the station website and social media.
- Create video/audio content.
