Qualifications

• Time management, communication, customer relations, and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent computer and mobile technology skills; experience with SDL software preferred.
• Current and valid UCC Inspector’s license issued by NJ DCA; multiple licenses preferred.
• Part‑time position with flexible hours including day/evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Under direction, inspects new and existing buildings to ensure compliance with the State Uniform Construction Code.
• Enforces codes to ensure public safety, health, and welfare; performs related duties as required.
• Duties may include inspections during daytime, late afternoon, early evenings and Saturdays; up to 24 hours/week.
