Job summary

New Jersey State League of Municipalities seeks qualified candidates for the position of Licensed Plumbing Inspector in Cherry Hill Township. Qualifications

• Knowledge of methods used to conduct plumbing inspections and familiarity with plumbing installation techniques.
• Ability to review and interpret plumbing plans and related documentation for UCC compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with SDL software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect new and existing residential, commercial, and industrial buildings to enforce compliance with applicable codes and approved plans/specifications.
• Issue permits, notices of non-compliance, stop-work orders, or written recommendations to the Code Official when necessary.
