Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Part-Time) to help maintain safety, appearance, and functionality of our residential and program facilities across Northeast Wisconsin, including the Marinette Trolley property and HUD housing sites.

The role involves performing a range of repairs, preventive maintenance, and grounds upkeep, with travel between sites required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Two years of building maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred.
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical labor in indoor and outdoor environments.
Basic computer skills, including email and online training systems.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Complete maintenance requests and repairs in a timely manner.
Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and general building repairs.
Conduct preventive maintenance and property inspections.
Maintain grounds, landscaping, curb appeal, and snow removal.
Repair and replace doors, windows, fixtures, appliances, and other building components.
Monitor building systems and mechanical equipment.
Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
Work with vendors and contractors as needed.
Participate in an emergency on-call rotation as assigned.
Ensure properties meet LSS, HUD, WHEDA, local code, and safety standards.
