Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) invites applications for a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support Marinette Trolley property and HUD housing sites across Northeast Wisconsin. Travel between multiple locations is required and 30 hours per week are available.

Responsibilities include completing repairs, preventive maintenance, and building system monitoring, while ensuring safety standards and code compliance across properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of building maintenance or related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical labor in indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests and repairs in a timely manner.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and general building repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and property inspections.
• Maintain grounds, landscaping, curb appeal, and snow removal.
• Repair and replace doors, windows, fixtures, appliances, and other building components.
• Monitor building systems and mechanical equipment.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Work with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Participate in an emergency on-call rotation as assigned.
• Ensure properties meet LSS, HUD, WHEDA, local code, and safety standards.
