Job summary

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse.
• Master's degree in nursing or DNP.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care as an RN or advanced practice nurse.
• Experience as a clinical educator is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach in clinical, laboratory, and simulation settings using evidence-based practice and adult learning principles.
• Ensure complete/assigned clinical hours and compliance requirements.
• Travel to Johns Hopkins SON and clinical facilities in the Baltimore-Washington area as needed.
• Collaborate with nurse managers, staff, and other clinical units to support student learning.
• Provide timely feedback and plans for academic improvement when needed.
• Attend course planning meetings and communicate with Clinical Course Coordinator.
