Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients across multiple hospital locations. You will prepare patients and equipment, conduct studies independently, and may handle on-call, portable, or site-specific exams while ensuring safety and high-quality results.

Requires an associate degree or trade school equivalency, RT(R) or MR certification, and at least 2 years MRI experience; weekend shifts with 50% premium pay

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or trade school equivalency required.
• Certification as R.T.(R) and/or MR.
• Minimum 2 years MRI experience preferred.
• IEMA license and RTR/CT/MR/RCIS/RCES certifications valued.
• CPR and IV therapy preferred.
• Part-time 24 hours weekly with benefits eligibility.
• Weekend work with 50% premium pay.
• Coverage at multiple hospital locations.
• Advanced MRI with 5% differential pay.

Job description

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in MRI, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently, and may handle on-call, portable, or site-specific exams.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and imaging equipment for procedures.
• Perform imaging studies independently and in various settings.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR.
• Minimum of 2 years MRI experience preferred.
• Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI) and certifications like RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
• Preferred skills include CPR and intravenous therapy.
• Part-time, 24 hours weekly, with benefits eligibility.
• Work primarily on weekends with premium pay (50% extra) for weekend hours.
• Coverage at multiple hospital locations possible.
• Includes advanced modality imaging such as MRI, with a differential pay increase of 5%.
