Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an experienced MRI technologist supervisor to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, for adults and children. The role includes preparing patients, overseeing shift operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring quality standards.

You will delegate tasks, troubleshoot technical issues, and serve as a clinical resource while coordinating with the supervisor and team to maintain workflow and supplies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school equivalency.
• R.T.(R) and/or MR certification is required.
• 2–5 years of experience; supervisor experience preferred.
• Licenses such as IEMA (excl MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
• CPR certification preferred (5–10 years experience).

Job description

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, on adult and pediatric patients to support diagnosis and treatment. The technologist will prepare patients and equipment, conduct studies independently, and assist with complex exams and troubleshooting. They will oversee shift operations, delegate tasks, and serve as a clinical resource for staff, mentoring and problem-solving. The role includes acting as a liaison between the team and supervisor, managing supplies, and ensuring smooth workflow. Responsibilities also encompass developing staff, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency; certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR.
• 2-5 years of experience; supervisor experience preferred.
• Licenses such as IEMA (excl MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
• Preferred: 5-10 years of experience, CPR certification.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and mentorship skills required.
