Job summary

Wellthy Care Network is helping a Washington, DC family find a reliable caregiver for three children ages 6 months to 4 years. The role includes after-school pickups, light household tasks, and basic care in the afternoon from 3pm to 7pm, about 20 hours per week.

Job description

A family in Washington DC (20001) is seeking a reliable, experienced caregiver to assist three children (ages 6mo, 2.5 years, 4 years) with pick up from school and basic care needs in the afternoon.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 3pm-7pm
• Approximately 20 hours per week

Family Specifications:

• Household with three children ages 6 months to 4 years
• Elementary school is a 5-10 minute walk from the family home

Responsibilities:

• Assist with some household chores like laundry, toys, light cleaning
• Pick up the school aged children from school (school in walking distance)
• Assist with basic care, meal times, and playtime
• Transportation via family's provided vehicle on days when weather is not appropriate to walk

Requirements:

• Prior experience providing private childcare for infants, multiples, and school age children
• CPR certified or willing to get CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred:

• Spanish, French, or English as first language

Compensation:

• $25-30/hour
