Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve Sacramento, CA and nearby areas such as Roseville, Elk Grove, Carmichael, Folsom, and Citrus Heights. As a mobile veterinarian, you will deliver hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in the comfort of their homes, balancing professional fulfillment with personal well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in home settings.
• Practice medicine with compassion as a mobile veterinarian.
• Collaborate with the Lap of Love support team to ensure smooth patient care.
