Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a Full-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve Sacramento, CA and surrounding areas. This mobile role emphasizes hospice and euthanasia care for pets in their homes, offering flexibility with 2–5 day schedules and a supportive network of mentors and practice managers.

compensation varies by schedule, with 4-day starts at $117,500 and 5-day at $140,000 base, plus bonus opportunities; 3-day options prorated.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in clients' homes.
• Practice veterinary medicine with balance, while receiving ongoing mentorship and support.
• Join a national network of veterinarians delivering in-home care.
