Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve the East Bay, CA area including surrounding communities. You will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia services in the comfort of patients’ homes, balancing your schedule with a flexible 2-5 day per week model.

The role supports your well-being and professional fulfillment, with mentorship, a community of veterinarians, and a 24/7/365 support center.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in-home.
• Practice as a mobile veterinarian in the East Bay area with flexible scheduling.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love support and mentors while working independently.
