Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve Ventura, CA and surrounding areas. As a mobile veterinarian, you’ll provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care in clients’ homes, supporting families during meaningful moments while balancing your life.

We value flexible 2–5 day schedules, mentoring, and a community of professionals. A DVM is required, plus a valid US driver’s license and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• DVM required or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will undergo background and motor vehicle record checks before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Practice as a mobile in-home veterinarian.
• Maintain high professional standards and support families during difficult moments.
• Engage in ongoing training and mentorship and collaborators within Lap of Love.
