Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice seeks a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve Chicago North Shore and surrounding communities, including Arlington Heights, Glenview, Highland Park, Northbrook, McHenry, Palatine, and nearby areas. This mobile role provides hospice and euthanasia care for pets in their homes, balancing meaningful work with personal life.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in the home.
• Operate as a mobile veterinarian visiting clients at their homes.
• Coordinate care with Lap of Love team and maintain patient records.
