Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• State/local security license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Age 18+ (unarmed); 21+ (armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition reports, and critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of refinery facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry, maintaining visitor/vehicle/incident documentation.
• Communicate observed conditions and maintenance concerns to site contacts and leadership.
