Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed, and maintain logs, reports, and other required documentation.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by observing and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
