Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Part Time Mission Logistician (TS/SCI with Poly) to support critical national-security missions. You’ll ensure government property and mission-critical systems are accounted for, prepared, transported, and delivered worldwide, working with developers, integrators, and mission partners.

You will coordinate logistics, manage inventory controls, and prepare shipping documentation to keep deployments on schedule. This role offers flexible part-time scheduling to fit mission needs.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of experience as a Logistician.
• Experience with government property-accounting processes, including forms and documentation.
• Knowledge of automated inventory-control systems.
• Professional experience with ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, property accountability, and disposition of excess property.
• Practical experience processing Government Bill of Lading documentation and DD Form 1149.
• Experience coordinating logistics activities and maintaining accurate government property and inventory records.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics and worldwide shipments supporting system integration, deployments, and system upgrades.
• Manage inventory-control processes for property received, shipped, moved, transferred, or excessed.
• Coordinate storage and movement of inbound, interplant, and outbound materials, equipment, and finished goods.
• Prepare equipment for shipment, including palletization, green-tagging, shrink-wrapping, and required shipping documentation.
• Prepare and process DD Form 1149 and documentation for Government Bills of Lading.
• Track shipments worldwide and coordinate Arrival on Site (AOS) with destination sites.
• Perform property-management and accountability functions per government guidance.
• Maintain the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) with entries for incoming property and transfers.
• Complete monthly inventory reports and maintain accurate property/shipping documentation.
• Develop and improve processes for shipping, receiving, storage, inventory control, and disposition of property.
