Job summary

Caledonia Community Schools in Michigan is seeking a part-time athletic coach for Duncan Lake Middle School. The Coach will develop athletes' skills, safety, academics eligibility, and sportsmanship, under Athletic Director supervision.

Responsibilities include training athletes, scheduling, communicating with parents, ensuring eligibility, and maintaining equipment. Prior coaching experience and a high school diploma preferred; CPR/First Aid desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Education preferred.
• Successful coaching experience at high school level or college playing/coaching desirable.
• CPR/First Aid certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop athletes in designated sport, focusing on skills, conditioning, safety, and sportsmanship.
• Assist in scheduling, transportation, and event logistics with the Athletic Director.
• Prepare athletes academically for participation; monitor attendance and behavior.
• Maintain equipment and facility readiness; attend practices and games as directed.
• Communicate with players and parents regarding progress and eligibility; assist in budget and program planning.
