The position is part-time (20 hours weekly) with a day shift, including weekdays and weekends. Requires two years of microbiology experience and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualificações

• Two (2) years of experience in Microbiology specimen processing.
• Must demonstrate good customer service skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have a history of punctuality.
• Must have a history of good attendance.

Responsabilidades

• Process Clinical Microbiology specimens per policies and Standard Precautions.
• Receive and process all Microbiology specimens and maintain PHI/HIPAA compliance.
• Keep work area clean, stocked with in-date supplies, and complete checklists.
• Cycle transport bags and ensure proper disposal of biohazard waste.
