Qualifications

• MFM and OB-GYN clinical experience required.

• Two+ years of sonography experience in a Maternal Fetal Medicine practice.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to industry standards and department policies.
• Demonstrates independent judgment in two-dimensional ultrasound of female reproductive anatomy and fetal structures.
• Evaluates requests for diagnostic ultrasound and determines the appropriate protocol and methods.
• Operates equipment, generates images, and limits patient exposure to the procedure.
• Provides patient education before, during, and after the procedure to reduce anxiety.
