Mercy Health in Youngstown area is seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer for a part-time role. The position requires RDMS with OB/GYN certification and BLS, and involves performing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations.

You will produce diagnostic images, document findings in EMR/PACS, assist in procedures such as amniocentesis, and support high-risk pregnancies with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifikationen

• RDMS via ARDMS is required.
• OB/GYN certification via ARDMS is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Fetal echocardiography (FE) certification or eligibility preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations including first-, second-, and third-trimester studies and fetal anatomy surveys.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and measurements with attention to fetal, placental, and maternal anatomy.
• Document sonographer observations and communicate urgent findings to the MFM physician.
• Assist physicians during ultrasound-guided procedures such as amniocentesis.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, dignity, and safety throughout exams.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and PACS and participate in QA activities.
