Job summary

Channel Partners is seeking a part-time Meta Experience Expert in Bloomington, MN to deliver premium demos of wearable and mixed reality products. You will educate customers, guide purchases, and create memorable brand experiences while meeting sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes tech-savvy communication, hands-on demonstrations, and excellent customer service, with flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer-facing experience in premium retail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling ability.

Responsibilities

• Become the go-to product expert, understanding wearable and MR products and articulating features and benefits.
• Deliver immersive demos that showcase how wearables and MR tech transform play, learning, work and interaction.
• Assist customers through transactions using the POS system for a smooth buying experience.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs; partner with Retail Manager when targets fall short.
• Keep displays clean, functional and engaging; support opening/closing and daily operations.
• Contribute positive team energy, arrive on time, and support store goals.
• Perform additional duties to support store operations and customer experience.

What You’ll Do

• Become the go‑to product expert! Build a deep understanding of our client’s wearable and mixed‑reality products—including accessories—and confidently articulate their features, benefits, and real‑world impact to every customer.


• Deliver unforgettable demos. Create immersive, hands‑on experiences that showcase how mixed reality and wearable technology can transform the way customers play, learn, work, and interact with the world around them.


• Support seamless purchases. Guide customers through transactions using our client’s Point of Sale (POS) system to ensure a smooth, efficient buying experience.


• Drive results. Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and key performance indicators. When targets fall short, partner with the Retail Manager to build action plans that get results.


• Keep the experience running smoothly. Execute daily operational tasks—including opening and closing procedures—and ensure all interactive displays are functioning, clean, and engaging for customers.


• Bring positive team energy. Arrive on time with a proactive, can‑do attitude, ready to support team goals, collaborate, and contribute to a high‑performance environment.


• Be adaptable. Perform additional duties as needed to support store operations and deliver exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Bring

Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• 2+ years of customer‑facing experience in premium retail


• Proven experience in presentation, public speaking, and/or storytelling

Skills and Attributes:

• Exemplary interpersonal communication, soft skills, written, verbal, and on‑camera


• Ability to leverage advanced customer service and industry‑related experience to engage with consumers


• Must be results and detail‑oriented


• Must be extremely tech‑savvy and passionate about technology


• Ability to ask effective questions and be an active listener


• High level of initiative and self‑motivation with a continued drive to learn


• Strong problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills


• Able to work well in a team environment


• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work on time


• Flexible availability including nights & weekends
