Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and store operations at the Paso Robles location.

You will manage truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure a customer-ready environment. Responsibilities include leading SOP adherence, executing pricing/promotions, and coordinating with store leadership for staffing and in-stock levels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to manage store operations and SOP compliance.
• Strong workload planning and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards with accountability for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution processes, unloading and sorting merchandise for the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership to align staffing to business needs.
• Oversee Planogram execution ensuring merchandising sets are completed on schedule.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and product presentation per company expectations.
• Support a clean, organized store environment including backroom organization and floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control to ensure product accuracy, integrity, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets and ensure promotional signage and product placement are customer-focused.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with compliance and proper inventory adjustments.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction with proper reporting.
• Train, coach, and develop team through TM onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices.
