Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Store Merchandise Manager for the S.DG-CARMEL MOUNTAIN, CA location. You will drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure pricing accuracy and promotional execution.

You will lead workload planning, SOP adherence, and Store-In-Stock optimization, supervise a team, and coordinate with store leadership to ensure a customer-ready environment and strong in-stock

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Drive merchandising and operational execution including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.
• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
• Lead truck execution processes, ensuring timely unloading and accurate flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization, partnering with store leadership to align staffing and execution to business needs.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently and accurately.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper inventory adjustments.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through structured TM onboarding.
• Partner in maintaining Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
