Job summary

American Greetings Corporation in Highland, IN is seeking a Merchandiser to service retail stores on assigned routes. You will merchandise greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods and other items, maintain backroom organization, and manage inventory to support in-store displays.

This role offers starting pay of $14.40 per hour with increases after six months and after one year, flexible scheduling, paid training, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Retail merchandising and inventory organization experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently on assigned routes.
• Comfort handling backroom organization and product placement.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned routes, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products within greeting card departments and other locations.
• Maintain organized backroom areas and perform inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management about schedules and service needs.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with good time management.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for extra days and extended hours around holidays.
• Assist with store resets and minor fixture work as needed.
• Review weekly service schedules and workload using a company tablet.
