Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations and service multiple bulk accounts in the Sumter/Manning area. You will follow planograms and collaborate with store management to optimize displays and promotions.

The role requires effective communication, prior retail customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Effective communication including listening, speaking and writing.
• Prior customer service experience in retail preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs).
• Excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customers and expectations.
• Reliable and independent work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and shelf per procedures.
• Moves products from backroom to display area.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials and rotates product.
• Maintains back room organization and pallet handling.
• Engages store personnel and discusses pricing, programs and opportunities.
