Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service several retail locations in the Columbus/Upper Arlington area. The role involves merchandising, coordinating product displays, and maintaining backrooms with company-issued tablets.

Training is provided, and schedule flexibility is available, especially around major holidays. The position offers on-site work with routes spanning multiple stores.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• English literacy required (speak, read, write, understand).
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with/without accommodation.
• Reliable transportation to cover multiple locations.
• Reliable internet access for critical updates.
• Able to learn and use a company-issued tablet for training and tasks.
• Occasional weekends and holiday scheduling expectations.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products in greeting card departments and maintain backrooms.
• Communicate questions or scheduling concerns with management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management.
• Build relationships with store staff and management during daytime hours.
• Possible additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work and product assembly.
